Lumber Cheap

Looking for free or cheap lumber !?

I checked craigslist, but nothing yet, just want it for some practice for woodworking. Does Home Depot ot Lowes have extras they give away, or do you know where else had lumber? thanks

A place to look is building construction sites, home or commercial.
There are remnants of 2×4′s/ 2×6′s and larger beams/ posts that will just go to the dump.
Ask someone there if you can look around.
