Can I sell the trees in my yard for timber?

I have at least 22 pin oak trees in my yard that are probably 80 feet tall. I was wondering if they are worth anything for timber and if there are people that would buy them? Thanks.

In my area of the SF Peninsula, mature trees are protected. This is true in Ashland Oregon as well. One must get a permit to remove mature trees and often permits to build require that existing trees be accommodated. You may want to check with local authorities before proceeding.
