Wood Veneer

How do you paperback paper back wood veneer?

Greetings. I have some wood veneer that I wish to paperback so that I can mount it using contact cement. I’m not shure what exactly the easiest and best adhesive to use to aply the paper to the veneer with. Any tips? Thanks!

use elmer wood glue , spread evenly , not to much , just coat it, they are both wood products, veneer and paper
